Dhaka: In pursuit of sustainable development, the progressive specialized development organization Fulbaria Unnoyon (Development) Forum has formulated a village-based development framework.
In a joint press release on Tuesday (July 9), Dr. Zahangir Alam, Chief Research Coordinator, and Mahedi Kawser Farazi, Chief Organizer of Fulbaria Development Forum, provided details on this initiative.
The statement mentioned that the Fulbaria Development Forum has commenced its official activities intending to bridge the administrative gap between the people and the government. This will be achieved by formulating and publishing a development framework and research report based on the village-level development of the historically and geographically rich and potentially-laden Fulbaria Upazila in Mymensingh District.
They stated that this forum will carry out intensive research-based activities with the participation of people from all levels, aiming to achieve the desired goals of genuine public development. The forum comprises a group of highly educated and talented young individuals from Fulbaria Upazila.
Additionally, to ensure the proper implementation of this initiative, a necessary number of “Research Coordinators,” “Research Fellows,” and “Volunteer Researchers” will be appointed in each village, as mentioned in the press release.
