Dhaka: The 1st International Conference on Bangladesh Studies (ICBS-I), 2025, will be held on April 19-20. It will take place at Istanbul Ticaret University, Türkiye, in a hybrid format.
The theme of the conference is “Building Bangladesh 2.0 in the Spirit of July Revolution.” Scholars, policymakers, and experts from around the world will attend.
The event will focus on the impact of the July Revolution on Bangladesh’s history. Discussions will cover politics, governance, and socio-political changes.
Panels will also explore human rights, public health, education, gender studies, migration, and economic growth. Special sessions will highlight the role of Islamic finance in social and economic progress.
The conference is organized by the Center for Policy and Social Research (CPSR). CPSR is part of the Policy and Social Research Association (POLISADER) in Türkiye. It is a well-known institution registered with Türkiye’s Ministry of Interior.
CPSR focuses on two main areas: politics and policy, and social issues. Its Politics and Policy Research Group studies political trends and governance. The Social Research Group explores topics like law, religion, and migration.
CPSR is led by academics from Türkiye and other countries. Its Advisory and Executive Boards include respected scholars. The center is committed to high-quality research and practical solutions for global challenges.
